Driving Dynamics Autosport is in town to catch all the action and check out the hottest vehicles on display as The Mint 400 Parade takes over Las Vegas Strip! The parade was a sight to behold, showcasing the toughest off-road vehicles in North America, from Unlimited Trucks to vintage buggies, captivating countless locals and tourists alike.
Led by Grand Marshal Carolyn Goodman, Mayor of Las Vegas, the Mint 400 Vehicle Parade saw over $20 million worth of off-road machinery trace a familiar route through the city, shutting down the Strip to announce the Mint 400's triumphant return. The parade showcased every type of vehicle to compete in the iconic event, from the latest and greatest in Unlimited Truck technology to legendary and historic vehicles that will compete in Limited and Vintage classes on race day.
The Mint 400 Parade is just the beginning of a week-long celebration of off-road racing. Following the parade, Mint 400 participants and aficionados gathered at the official Mint 400 Kickoff Party at PT's Wings and Sports at The STRAT Hotel, while others headed to Oscar's Steakhouse for the return of the Mint 400 Dinner of Champions later in the night.
The festivities continued with the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival, which saw 100 exhibitors take over Fremont Street East. Racers brought their vehicles through the festival to complete tech and contingency processes in preparation for Friday and Saturday's racing.
Since its inception in 1968 as a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel's annual deer hunt, the Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America. Since its revival in 2008, the event has grown in size and prestige, with deeper fields every year only making it tougher to win.
Driving Dynamics Autosport is among the attendees who caught a glimpse of the action and checked out some of the hottest vehicles on display during the Mint 400 Parade. The event is a must-see for anyone interested in off-road racing, and with the festivities continuing throughout the week, there's still plenty of opportunities to join in on the action.
